Trust
For the people who sign off on new tools. No certificate is claimed.
No training on your work
- We don’t use your content to train models, and we don’t share it with other clients.
- Anthropic’s commercial terms don’t allow it to train models on what we send. Our Voyage AI account is opted out of Voyage’s use of our data for training.
Where your data is held
- Your database, sign-in and files are held in London, UK (AWS eu-west-2), with Supabase.
- The application runs in London, UK, on Vercel. Content is delivered through Vercel’s global network.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: database, sign-in, file storage and editing together. London, UK.
- Vercel: hosting and running the application, and anonymous visit statistics. London, UK.
- Anthropic: Ask Marque’s readings, the drafts Marque writes, and descriptions of uploaded assets. United States.
- Voyage AI: search representations of assets for Brand Search. United States.
- Resend: account emails, and sign-off and mention emails if your organisation turns them on. United States (sent from Ireland).
- Sentry: error monitoring, with personal data removed before sending. European Union (Germany).
- Transfers outside the UK rely on UK adequacy regulations for the European Union. For the United States they rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
The data processing agreement
- Where we process personal data for you, we do so as your processor under our data processing agreement, which lists the providers we use.
- Questions about these terms: write to info@bigandbold.com.
How Marque uses a language model, and how we say so
- Marque is software, not a person. It reads your work with a language model, against your brand’s Intelligence Architecture.
- Marque advises. People decide. Marque never approves a piece on its own, and a person signs off what is published.
- Ask Marque reads every draft before anyone sees it. Marque keeps a record of every draft it wrote, its reading and who signed it off.
- Where a client publishes text made with Marque to inform the public on matters of public interest, the client is responsible for any disclosure the EU AI Act requires. The sign-off record shows who reviewed it.
- For clients based in or aiming at the EU, Social posts and Marque’s new-copy versions stay off.
You own what you make
- You keep all rights in your content, and the work Marque makes for you belongs to you once it is made.
- You own the brand content of your Intelligence Architecture, and can take a copy of it when the agreement ends.
